Courses on a range of topics including:
ESG reporting and accounting
Who is this course for?
Anyone who needs a hand understanding the standards and frameworks that exist for climate accounting and ESG disclosures.
What can I expect?
As an interactive course, participants will look at mini case studies and conduct case work using real ESG data and ESG disclosures in annual reports, equipping you with the tools you need to understand and exploit the connections between financial and ESG reporting. By the end of the session, participants should be able to interpret and use carbon accounting, materiality matrixes and know the difference between voluntary versus mandatory ESG disclosures.
ESG comprehensive workshop
Who is this course for?
Those who want to start from the basics and build their knowledge – from a baseline of looking at ESG’s relevance and role in the financial world to its rising ubiquity in common investment and company discourse.
What can I expect?
Participants walk away with practical tools and insights to use in their own ESG reporting and compliance work. You’ll review the ways in which ESG not only mitigates risk but adds value to an underlying asset, as well as looking at the principle of materiality and practice using materiality assessments using common ESG frameworks.
Finally, we take course participants through the process of ESG reporting to workshop stages of the process, data collection principles, narrative development, telling a holistic story, and the final stage of ESG report assurance.
Compliance and legislation focused courses (e.g. CSRD)
Who are these courses for? Those looking for specific understanding of the requirements of the legislation they’d like to understand, for example the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD) that comes into effect for large public-interest companies from 1 January 2024 as well as the accompanying European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The EU taxonomy is also covered as it interlinks with the CSRD.
What can I expect?
Participants will gain a technical understanding of, among other things, procurement practices, anti-corruption, anti-competitive behaviour and tax.

"It has been a pleasure from first point of contact to project finalisation to work with VantagePoint. During the entire technology implementation project, we felt comfortable that VantagePoint prioritised us as a customer, understood our needs, closely monitored the time plan and added resources to meet deadlines when needed. The willingness to go that extra mile for customer success was highly appreciated."
